With a 5.7 percent increase on Friday, April 26, Chinese silver was the biggest mover on the Global Precious Metals MMI®. US silver rose 5.4 percent. The price of Indian silver climbed 3.5 percent. After a 1.2 percent increase, Japanese silver finished the day up.
US gold bullion finished the day up 2.6 percent. The price of Indian gold bullion increased 1.5 percent. After a 1.4 percent increase, Japanese gold bullion finished the day up. Chinese gold bullion saw its price rise 0.6 percent.
US platinum bar finished the day up 2.6 percent. The price of Chinese platinum bar moved up 2.0 percent. The price of Japanese platinum bar increased 1.6 percent.
US palladium bar prices rose 1.8 percent. The price of Japanese palladium bar was essentially unchanged. Following a two-day rise, the price of Chinese palladium bar flattened.
