US Silver Drifts 1.5%

Closing at $24.04 per ounce on Monday, April 29, US silver saw the biggest change at a 1.5 percent. Indian silver gained 0.2 percent to finish at INR 45,644 ($839.34) per kilogram. Following a two-day rise, the price of Chinese silver flattened at CNY 4,950 ($803.08). The price of Japanese silver flattened at JPY 758.00 ($7.75) after two days of improvement.

After improving for two days, the price of US gold bullion declined 0.4 percent to $1,463 per ounce. Japanese gold bullion prices rose 0.2 percent to JPY 4,684 ($47.86) per gram. Indian gold bullion held its value on Monday at INR 27,386 ($503.60) per 10 grams. After a couple of days of improving prices, the price of Chinese gold bullion held steady at CNY 300.20 ($48.70).

US platinum bar finished the day up 0.9 percent to $1,476 per ounce. The price of Chinese platinum bar held steady at CNY 311.00 ($50.46) per gram. The price of Japanese platinum bar ended a two-day climb, settling at JPY 4,684 ($47.86) per gram.

At $678.00 per ounce, US palladium bar fell 0.3 percent on Monday. Japanese palladium bar stayed flat at around JPY 2,233 ($22.82) per gram. The price of Chinese palladium bar remained steady at CNY 158.00 ($25.63) per gram.
