After falling 7.4 percent, lanthanum oxide was the week’s biggest mover on the weekly Rare Earths MMI®.
The price of cerium oxide decreased 6.8 percent from the previous week. Terbium oxide prices fell nearly $25 per kilogram from a week ago.
The price of europium oxide fell 3.3 percent over the past week. This was the fourth week in a row of declining prices. Praseodymium neodymium oxide saw a 1.7 percent decline over the past week. After a 1.7 percent decline, praseodymium neodymium oxide closed out the week down. The price of dysprosium oxide did not change since the previous week.
Neodymium oxide remained essentially flat from the previous week. Praseodymium oxide traded sideways last week, as did prices for rare earth carbonate, samarium oxide, terbium metal and yttria, among others.
