The price of Japanese platinum bar rose 3.2 percent on Wednesday, May 8, making it the day’s biggest mover, after three days of flat prices.
The price of US platinum bar fell by 1.5 percent. The price of Chinese platinum bar remained essentially flat.
The price of Japanese gold bullion increased 1.8 percent. US gold bullion finished the day down 1.2 percent. Chinese gold bullion prices saw a 0.6 percent decline. The price of Indian gold bullion declined 0.4 percent.
The price of Indian silver finished the market day up 0.4 percent per kilogram. US silver fell 0.3 percent on Wednesday. The price of Chinese silver fell 0.3 percent. Japanese silver saw little change in its price on Wednesday.
