Construction MMI®: Chinese H-beam Steel Finishes Week Down

Chinese H-beam steel’s 1.9 percent decline made it this week’s biggest mover on the weekly Construction MMI®.

The Chinese low price of 62% Australian iron ore fines rose 1.0 percent after falling 2.8 percent during the previous week. The price of US shredded scrap fell 0.3 percent over the past week. This was the fourth week in a row of declining prices. The week finished with no movement for Chinese rebar.
