US Gold Bullion Finishes Day Flat

Prices for US gold bullion held steady on Tuesday, May 14, remaining around $1,431 per ounce. The price of Chinese gold bullion flattened at CNY 293.20 ($47.70) per gram after two days of downward movement. The price of Indian gold bullion remained steady at INR 27,005 ($492.47) per 10 grams. Japanese gold bullion saw little change in its price on Tuesday at JPY 4,706 ($46.29) per gram.

Chinese silver stayed flat at around CNY 4,770 ($776.09) per kilogram. After dropping for two days, the price of Indian silver flattened at INR 44,494 ($811.41). The price of Japanese silver remained essentially flat at JPY 770.00 ($7.57) per 10 grams. After a couple of days of decreasing prices, the price of US silver held steady at $23.65.

The price of Chinese platinum bar held steady at CNY 312.00 ($50.76) per gram. At $1,477 per ounce, the price of US platinum bar was essentially unchanged. The price of Japanese platinum bar showed little movement on Tuesday at JPY 4,906 ($48.25) per gram.

Japanese palladium bar held its value on Tuesday at JPY 2,375 ($23.36) per gram. The price of US palladium bar steadied at $716.00 per ounce following two-days of increases. The price of Chinese palladium bar flattened at CNY 159.00 ($25.87) after two days of improvement.
