US palladium bar gained 1.7 percent to finish at $737.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar increased 0.6 percent to CNY 165.00 ($26.82) per gram.
US platinum bar prices saw a 0.9 percent decline to $1,475 per ounce. The price of Japanese platinum bar declined 0.1 percent to JPY 4,900 ($47.97) per gram. The price of Chinese platinum bar held steady at CNY 312.00 ($50.72) per gram.
Chinese gold bullion ended the day at CNY 279.70 ($45.47) per gram, after the 1.4 percent drop last Friday. The price of Japanese gold bullion declined 0.6 percent to JPY 4,566 ($44.70) per gram. US gold bullion ended the day at $1,386 per ounce, after the 0.5 percent drop last Friday. The price of Indian gold bullion rose 0.2 percent to INR 26,255 ($479.23) per 10 grams after a two-day drop.
Japanese silver closed 1.5 percent lower at JPY 729.00 ($7.14) per 10 grams. Following a two-day drop, the price of Indian silver increased by 1.5 percent to INR 42,958 ($784.11) per kilogram. Just off of a 30-day low of $22.69 per ounce, the price of US silver rose 0.4 percent last Friday. After hitting a 30-day low of CNY 4,580 ($744.50) per kilogram on Wednesday, May 15, the price of Chinese silver rose 0.4 percent last Friday.
