Rare Earths MMI®: Steady Price Week for Cerium Oxide

Rare Earths MMI® metals had a quiet week, with cerium oxide hovering around CNY 29,000 ($4,722) per metric ton. Dysprosium oxide remained essentially flat from the previous week at CNY 1,625 ($264.59) per kilogram. At CNY 4,150 ($675.72) per kilogram, the week finished with no movement for europium oxide.

Following a steady week, prices for lanthanum oxide closed flat at CNY 30,500 ($4,966) per metric ton. At CNY 367,500 ($59,838) per metric ton, the price of praseodymium oxide did not change since the previous week. Prices for rare earth carbonate remained constant, closing the week at CNY 27,500 ($4,478) per metric ton. Samarium oxide traded sideways last week, hovering around CNY 47,500 ($7,734) per metric ton. Closing at CNY 7,850 ($1,278) per kilogram, terbium metal remained unchanged for the week.

Terbium oxide prices held steady from the previous week at CNY 3,150 ($512.89) per kilogram. Yttria remained essentially flat from the previous week at CNY 71,500 ($11,642) per metric ton. At CNY 400.00 ($65.13) per kilogram, the week finished with no movement for yttrium.
