Indian Silver Up After Two-Day Decline

 On Monday, May 27, the day’s biggest mover was the price of Indian silver, which saw a 4.3 percent increase to INR 45,060 ($807.23) per kilogram. This increase comes after the price fell for the two previous days. US silver closed 1.1 percent lower at $22.39 per ounce. Chinese silver saw its price rise 0.6 percent to CNY 4,520 ($736.27) per kilogram. Japanese silver stayed flat at around JPY 739.00 ($7.31) per 10 grams.

After a 2.1 percent increase, Indian gold bullion finished the day at INR 26,965 ($483.07) per 10 grams. US gold bullion prices saw a 0.4 percent decline to $1,386 per ounce. The price of Chinese gold bullion declined 0.2 percent to CNY 280.45 ($45.68) per gram. Japanese gold bullion held its value last Friday at JPY 4,548 ($45.00) per gram.

US platinum bar finished the day down 0.5 percent to $1,453 per ounce. Chinese platinum bar ended the day at CNY 304.00 ($49.52) per gram, after the 0.3 percent drop last Friday. At JPY 4,790 ($47.39) per gram, the price of Japanese platinum bar was essentially unchanged.

US palladium bar closed 1.2 percent lower at $726.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar fell 0.6 percent to CNY 166.00 ($27.04) per gram. The price of Japanese palladium bar saw little movement at JPY 2,460 ($24.34) per gram.
