Indian Gold Bullion Moves Up 2.1%

Closing at INR 27,625 ($486.92) per 10 grams on the Thursday, June 6, Indian gold bullion rose 2.1 percent to finish as the day’s biggest mover. Japanese gold bullion finished the day down 1.0 percent to JPY 4,456 ($45.03) per gram. Chinese gold bullion closed 0.5 percent lower at CNY 278.10 ($45.38) per gram. The price of US gold bullion increased 0.2 percent to $1,403 per ounce.

The price of Japanese silver declined 1.5 percent to JPY 715.00 ($7.23) per 10 grams, after two days of improvement. Following a two-day drop, the price of Indian silver increased by 1.3 percent to INR 44,425 ($783.04) per kilogram. The price of Chinese silver showed little movement yesterday at CNY 4,504 ($734.90) per kilogram. US silver held its value yesterday at $22.55 per ounce.

US platinum bar prices rose 1.3 percent to $1,511 per ounce. Chinese platinum bar saw its price rise 1.0 percent to CNY 314.00 ($51.23) per gram. Japanese platinum bar prices inched up 0.3 percent to JPY 4,837 ($48.88) per gram.

After a 1.1 percent increase, US palladium bar finished the day at $757.00 per ounce. At CNY 168.00 ($27.41), the price of Chinese palladium bar finished the market day up 0.6 percent per gram. The price of Japanese palladium bar was unchanged at JPY 2,432 ($24.58) per gram.
