Indian Silver Up 2.8%

Indian silver saw a 2.8 percent increase on Thursday, June 20, reaching INR 45,084 ($767.78) per kilogram and making it the biggest upwards shift of the day. The price of US silver reached a 30-day low after decreasing 1.5 percent to $21.35 per ounce. The price of Chinese silver fell to a 30-day low at CNY 4,290 ($699.95) per kilogram after shifting 1.4 percent. Japanese silver stayed flat at around JPY 664.00 ($6.87) per 10 grams.

Chinese gold bullion continued its trend downwards. Finishing the day at CNY 269.50 ($43.97) per gram, it dropped 1.4 percent. The price of US gold bullion fell 1.2 percent to a 30-day low of $1,351 per ounce on Thursday. Indian gold bullion prices rose 1.1 percent to INR 28,199 ($480.23) per 10 grams. The price of Japanese gold bullion flattened at JPY 4,186 ($43.33) per gram after two days of downward movement.

US platinum bar finished the day down 2.1 percent to $1,411 per ounce. Chinese platinum bar saw its price drop 1.3 percent to a 30-day low of CNY 298.00 ($48.62) per gram yesterday. Japanese platinum bar held its value on Thursday at JPY 4,411 ($45.66) per gram.

The price of Chinese palladium bar declined 2.5 percent to CNY 153.00 ($24.96) per gram. US palladium bar prices saw a 2.1 percent decline to $693.00 per ounce. The price of Japanese palladium bar showed little movement on Thursday at JPY 2,178 ($22.54) per gram.
