The day’s biggest mover was Chinese silver, dropping 8.9 percent on Friday, June 21. Last Friday a price drop of 8.2 percent carried the price of US silver to a 30-day low. Indian silver fell 5.3 percent. The price of Japanese silver finished the market day up 0.2 percent per 10 grams.
US gold bullion saw its price drop 5.4 percent to a 30-day low as well last Friday. After falling 3.7 percent, the price of Chinese gold bullion reached a 30-day low. Indian gold bullion prices fell 3.4 percent last Friday. Japanese gold bullion prices rose 0.3 percent.
The price of Chinese platinum bar fell to a 30-day low after shifting 4.4 percent. The price of US platinum bar reached a 30-day low after decreasing 3.8 percent. After a 0.4 percent increase, Japanese platinum bar finished the day higher.
US palladium bar was down 4.5 percent from the previous market day. A $5.00 price decline in the Chinese palladium bar left the price lower as well. Japanese palladium bar stayed flat.
