The price of US copper producer grade 122 fell to a 30-day low at $3.69 per pound after shifting 1.9 percent. The price of US copper producer grade 110 reached a 30-day low after decreasing 1.9 percent to $3.69 per pound. The price of US copper producer grade 102 fell to a 30-day low at $3.88 per pound after shifting 1.8 percent. The Japanese copper cash price flattened at JPY 685,000 ($7,017) following two-days of declines.
Chinese copper closed mixed on Tuesday. The price of Chinese copper wire fell 1.6 percent to a 30-day low of CNY 48,865 ($7,953) per metric ton yesterday. After falling 1.3 percent to CNY 49,850 ($8,113) per metric ton, the price of Chinese copper bar reached a 30-day low. Chinese primary cash copper saw its price drop 1.3 percent to a 30-day low of CNY 50,050 ($8,146) per metric ton on Tuesday. Chinese bright copper scrap saw little change in its price yesterday at CNY 41,130 ($6,694) per metric ton.
