Big Change Hits Indian Silver

With a decline of 5.9 percent to INR 39,502 ($662.04) per kilogram on Wednesday, June 26, Indian silver recorded the biggest price drift of the day. After falling 3.3 percent to JPY 586.00 ($5.97) per 10 grams, the price of Japanese silver reached a 30-day low. The price of Chinese silver reached a 30-day low after decreasing 2.6 percent to CNY 3,810 ($619.88) per kilogram. The price of US silver fell 0.3 percent to $19.64 per ounce.

The price of Chinese gold bullion fell to a 30-day low at CNY 251.86 ($40.98) per gram after shifting 3.1 percent. Indian gold bullion ended the day at INR 26,111 ($437.61) per 10 grams, after the 2.5 percent drop yesterday. Japanese gold bullion prices saw a 2.2 percent decline to JPY 3,930 ($40.03) per gram. After falling 0.4 percent to $1,278 per ounce, the price of US gold bullion reached a 30-day low.

Just off of a 30-day low of $1,349 per ounce, the price of US platinum bar rose 1.4 percent on Wednesday. Japanese platinum bar finished the day down 1.0 percent to JPY 4,165 ($42.42) per gram. Yesterdayon Wednesday price drop of 0.7 percent carried the price of Chinese platinum bar to a 30-day low of CNY 284.00 ($46.21) per gram.

At JPY 2,059 ($20.97) per gram, Japanese palladium bar fell 0.8 percent yesterday. The price of US palladium bar increased 0.6 percent to $664.00 per ounce. Chinese palladium bar saw little change in its price yesterday at CNY 148.00 ($24.08) per gram.
