Prices Hit 30-Day Low for US Silver

US silver had the largest decline on Thursday, June 27, dropping 5.7 percent and landing at $18.52 per ounce. Chinese silver saw its price drop 0.9 percent to a 30-day low of CNY 3,775 ($612.59) per kilogram on Thursday. The price of Japanese silver reached a 30-day low after decreasing 0.7 percent to JPY 582.00 ($5.96) per 10 grams. Indian silver finished the day down 0.6 percent to INR 39,264 ($646.64) per kilogram.

Yesterdayon Thursday price drop of 4.1 percent carried the price of US gold bullion to a 30-day low of $1,225 per ounce. After falling 0.9 percent to CNY 249.50 ($40.49) per gram, the price of Chinese gold bullion reached a 30-day low. The price of Indian gold bullion fell 0.6 percent to INR 25,964 ($427.60) per 10 grams. The price of Japanese gold bullion declined 0.5 percent to JPY 3,910 ($40.03) per gram.

The price of US platinum bar fell 3.9 percent to a 30-day low of $1,297 per ounce yesterday. Chinese platinum bar saw its price drop 2.1 percent to a 30-day low of CNY 278.00 ($45.11) per gram on Thursday. The price of Japanese platinum bar rose 1.0 percent to JPY 4,205 ($43.05) per gram after a two-day drop.

Landing at $630.00 per ounce on Thursday, US palladium bar prices fell 5.1 percent. Chinese palladium bar ended the day at CNY 144.00 ($23.37) per gram, after the 2.7 percent drop yesterday. At JPY 2,029 ($20.77) per gram, Japanese palladium bar fell 1.5 percent on Thursday.
