On Monday, July 1, the cash price of Japanese copper experienced the biggest change, rising 1.3 percent to JPY 693,000 ($6,966) per metric ton.
The prices of US copper producer grades 102, 122 and 110 saw little movement yesterday, however.
Chinese copper prices were mixed for the day. Chinese copper bar prices rose 0.7 percent. The Chinese copper cash price rose 0.7 percent. The price of Chinese copper wire increased 0.7 percent. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap held steady.
On the LME, the cash price of primary copper increased 0.7 percent to $6,751 per metric ton. At $6,776, the copper 3-month price finished the market day on the LME up 0.7 percent per metric ton.
