Chinese Gold Bullion Down 1.3%

On Wednesday, July 10, the day’s biggest mover was Chinese gold bullion, which saw a 1.3 percent decline to CNY 251.99 ($41.11) per gram. The price of US gold bullion increased 1.1 percent to $1,251 per ounce. Indian gold bullion saw little change in its price yesterday at INR 26,213 ($436.14) per 10 grams. The price of Japanese gold bullion held steady at JPY 4,094 ($40.46) per gram.

After a 0.9 percent increase, US silver finished the day at $19.26 per ounce. At CNY 3,845 ($627.21), the price of Chinese silver finished the market day up 0.7 percent per kilogram. Indian silver prices inched up 0.5 percent to INR 40,035 ($666.11) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver showed little movement on Wednesday at JPY 625.00 ($6.18) per 10 grams.

US platinum bar prices rose 0.7 percent to $1,366 per ounce. The price of Chinese platinum bar remained steady at CNY 286.00 ($46.65) per gram. At JPY 4,503 ($44.51) per gram, the price of Japanese platinum bar was essentially unchanged.

US palladium bar gained 0.3 percent to finish at $698.00 per ounce. Japanese palladium bar stayed flat at around JPY 2,263 ($22.37) per gram. The price of Chinese palladium bar flattened at CNY 155.50 ($25.37) after two days of improvement.
