US Gold Price Rises, as Platinum, Palladium Charge Forth

With a 0.6 percent increase on Wednesday, July 17, US gold bullion was the biggest mover on the daily Global Precious Metals MMI®. Chinese gold bullion prices inched up 0.5 percent. The price of Japanese gold bullion increased 0.2 percent. Indian gold bullion saw little change in its price on Wednesday.

US silver gained 0.4 percent. Indian silver ended the day after a 0.3 percent drop on Wednesday. Chinese silver prices saw a 0.3 percent decline. The price of Japanese silver remained essentially flat.

The price of Chinese platinum bar moved up 0.3 percent. After a 0.2 percent increase, US platinum bar finished the day higher. Japanese platinum bar saw its price rise 0.2 percent.

The price of Chinese palladium bar finished the market day up 0.6 percent per gram. US palladium bar finished the day up 0.4 percent. The price of Japanese palladium bar showed little movement yesterday.
