The cash price of primary Japanese copper remained essentially flat at JPY 730,000 ($7,269) per metric ton.
Chinese copper prices closed flat for the day. The price of Chinese copper bar remained essentially flat at CNY 52,100 ($8,489) per metric ton. The cash price of Chinese copper saw little change in its price on Thursday at CNY 52,300 ($8,522) per metric ton. The price of Chinese copper wire held steady at CNY 51,160 ($8,336) per metric ton. Chinese bright copper scrap saw little change in its price yesterday at CNY 44,400 ($7,234) per metric ton.
