Decreasing 2.8 percent made Indian silver the biggest mover of the day, finishing at INR 40,911 ($692.64) per kilogram on Monday, July 29. The price of Japanese silver fell 2.5 percent to JPY 627.00 ($6.40) per 10 grams. Chinese silver finished the day down 2.0 percent to CNY 3,970 ($647.51) per kilogram. US silver prices saw a 1.3 percent decline to $19.99 per ounce.

Indian gold bullion prices inched up 2.4 percent to INR 28,116 ($476.02) per 10 grams. Japanese gold bullion ended the day at JPY 4,183 ($42.70) per gram, after the 1.7 percent drop on Monday. Chinese gold bullion closed 0.8 percent lower at CNY 265.15 ($43.25) per gram. The price of US gold bullion held steady at $1,334 per ounce.

The price of Japanese platinum bar declined 1.7 percent to JPY 4,521 ($46.15) per gram. At CNY 298.00 ($48.60) per gram, Chinese platinum bar fell 1.3 percent on Monday. The price of US platinum bar declined 1.2 percent to $1,427 per ounce.

Japanese palladium bar finished the day down 2.3 percent to JPY 2,309 ($23.57) per gram. At $725.00 per ounce, US palladium bar fell 1.6 percent on Monday. The price of Chinese palladium bar fell 1.2 percent to CNY 162.00 ($26.42) per gram.
