US Shredded Scrap Price Rises on Construction Metals Index

The price of Chinese rebar fell 0.6 percent after rising 2.9 percent the week before.

Following a 0.3 percent increase, US shredded scrap finished the week higher. The Chinese low price of 62% Australian iron ore fines traded sideways last week. Chinese H-beam steel prices held steady from the previous week.

Following a steady week, prices for Chinese aluminum bar closed flat. European 1050 aluminum remained unchanged for the week.
