A 3.1 percent jump for silicon was the week’s heaviest change on the weekly Renewables MMI®.
US steel plate rose by a slight 2.2 percent. The price of Japanese steel plate did not change since the previous week.
Chinese renewables prices were mixed for the week. Neodymium prices climbed nearly $10,000 per metric ton from a week ago. Chinese cobalt cathodes saw a 1.0 percent decline over the past week. Prices for Chinese steel plate remained constant.
US grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) increased 1.2 percent this month.
