On Monday, August 5, the nickel spot price experienced the biggest change, rising 0.5 percent on the LME to $13,815 per metric ton. On the LME, the nickel 3-month price gained 0.1 percent to finish at $13,870 per metric ton.
The cash price of primary Indian nickel rose 0.1 percent.

The price of Chinese ferro-chrome saw essentially no change for the fifth day in a row. The price of Chinese ferro-moly remained essentially flat.
The price of Chinese primary nickel inched up 0.2 percent.
The prices of Chinese 304 and 316 stainless coil and scrap were unchanged.
