Rising 4.1 percent to close at $14,215 per metric ton, the 3-month price of nickel experienced the biggest change on the LME for Friday, August 9. On the LME, the spot price of nickel inched up 2.2 percent to $14,155 per metric ton.
The Indian nickel cash price rose 2.0 percent.
Chinese stainless steel closed even last Friday. The price of Chinese ferro-chrome continues not moving.
The price of Chinese primary nickel finished the market day up 1.1 percent per metric ton.
