Price of Silver in China Drops, Gold Suffers Too

On Wednesday, September 11, the day’s biggest mover was Chinese silver, which saw a 3.2 percent decline. A $0.75 price decline in the US silver left the price at down also. Indian silver fell 1.9 percent on Wednesday. The price of Japanese silver declined 0.1 percent.

US gold bullion finished the day down 1.7 percent. Indian gold bullion closed 0.9 percent lower. Chinese gold bullion fell 0.7 percent on Wednesday. Japanese gold bullion finished the day down 0.3 percent.

After falling for two days, the price of Japanese platinum bar rose 0.8 percent. The price of US platinum bar declined 0.6 percent. Chinese platinum bar prices saw a 0.3 percent decline.

US palladium bar prices rose 1.2 percent. Japanese palladium bar finished the day up 0.9 percent. Chinese palladium bar prices inched up 0.6 percent.
