With a 2.8 percent increase on Friday, September 20, Japanese palladium bar was the biggest mover on the Global Precious Metals MMI®. US palladium bar finished the day up 1.9 percent to $732.00 per ounce. Chinese palladium bar held its value last Friday at CNY 155.00 ($25.32) per gram.
The price of US platinum bar declined 0.3 percent to $1,459 per ounce. Japanese platinum bar gained 0.3 percent to finish at JPY 4,682 ($47.11) per gram. The price of Chinese platinum bar remained essentially flat at CNY 298.00 ($48.69) per gram.
The price of Indian gold bullion fell 0.8 percent to INR 30,124 ($484.35) per 10 grams. The price of Japanese gold bullion increased 0.8 percent to JPY 4,358 ($43.85) per gram. The price of US gold bullion remained steady at $1,365 per ounce. At CNY 258.10 ($42.17) per gram, the price of Chinese gold bullion was essentially unchanged.
Indian silver finished the day down 2.4 percent to INR 50,344 ($809.45) per kilogram. After a 0.6 percent increase, US silver finished the day at $23.09 per ounce. Japanese silver saw its price rise 0.6 percent to JPY 730.00 ($7.34) per 10 grams. Chinese silver stayed flat at around CNY 4,340 ($709.04) per kilogram.
