Rare Earths MMI®: Quiet Week Cerium Oxide

Consistent prices for Rare Earths MMI® metals continued through the week, where cerium oxide held steady at CNY 28,500 ($4,659) per metric ton. Dysprosium oxide remained essentially flat from the previous week at CNY 2,150 ($351.46) per kilogram. Closing at CNY 4,900 ($801.00) per kilogram, europium oxide remained unchanged for the week.

Prices for lanthanum oxide remained constant, closing the week at CNY 28,000 ($4,577) per metric ton. At CNY 450,000 ($73,549) per metric ton, the week finished with no movement for neodymium. At CNY 450,000 ($73,549) per metric ton, the price of neodymium did not change since the previous week. Following a steady week, prices for neodymium oxide closed flat at CNY 355,000 ($58,032) per metric ton.

Praseodymium oxide traded sideways last week, hovering around CNY 570,000 ($93,178) per metric ton. Rare earth carbonate prices held steady from the previous week at CNY 27,500 ($4,495) per metric ton. Prices for samarium oxide remained constant, closing the week at CNY 23,000 ($3,760) per metric ton. Terbium metal prices held steady from the previous week at CNY 4,900 ($801.00) per kilogram.

Terbium oxide remained essentially flat from the previous week at CNY 4,150 ($678.40) per kilogram. At CNY 80,000 ($13,078) per metric ton, the week finished with no movement for yttria. Yttrium traded sideways last week, hovering around CNY 280.00 ($45.77) per kilogram.
