US Gold Bullion Moves Up 0.8%
US gold bullion saw the biggest upwards shift for the day, rising 0.8 percent to close at $1,333 per ounce on Thursday, September 26. Japanese gold bullion saw its price rise 0.4 percent to JPY 4,244 ($43.11) per gram. Indian gold bullion finished the day up 0.4 percent to INR 30,030 ($480.98) per 10 grams. Chinese gold bullion prices rose 0.4 percent to CNY 263.55 ($43.05) per gram.
The price of US silver increased 0.4 percent to $21.80 per ounce. Indian silver gained 0.4 percent to finish at INR 48,663 ($779.42) per kilogram. Chinese silver prices saw a 0.2 percent decline to CNY 4,350 ($710.58) per kilogram. After dropping for two days, the price of Japanese silver flattened at JPY 685.00 ($6.96).
The price of Chinese platinum bar fell 0.3 percent to CNY 300.00 ($49.01) per gram yesterday after two days of no change. At JPY 4,568 ($46.40) per gram, Japanese platinum bar fell 0.3 percent yesterday. The price of US platinum bar showed little movement on Thursday at $1,424 per ounce.
Japanese palladium bar prices inched up 0.5 percent to JPY 2,317 ($23.54) per gram. After a 0.4 percent increase, US palladium bar finished the day at $721.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar remained essentially flat at CNY 160.00 ($26.14) per gram.
