At JPY 4,371 ($44.91) per gram, Japanese platinum bar fell 1.9 percent on Thursday. The price of US platinum bar rose 0.7 percent to $1,387 per ounce after a two-day drop. The price of Chinese platinum bar held steady at CNY 298.00 ($48.69) per gram.
Japanese palladium bar finished the day down 2.5 percent to JPY 2,267 ($23.29) per gram. Following a two-day drop, the price of US palladium bar increased by 0.1 percent to $717.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar saw little movement at CNY 160.00 ($26.14) per gram.
