There was no movement for the Indian nickel cash price, where it stayed at INR 872.80 ($14.06) per kilogram. The nickel 3-month price held steady yesterday on the LME, remaining around $13,900 per metric ton. The nickel spot price remained essentially flat on the LME at $13,830 per metric ton.

Chinese stainless steel prices closed flat for the day. The price of Chinese ferro-chrome was unchanged at CNY 8,300 ($1,356) per metric ton. For the fifth day in a row, the price of Chinese ferro-moly remained essentially flat at CNY 145,000 ($23,696) per metric ton.

The price of Chinese 316 stainless coil saw essentially no change for the fifth day in a row, remaining around CNY 26,000 ($4,249) per metric ton. The price of Chinese 304 stainless coil held steady at CNY 16,400 ($2,680) per metric ton. The price of Chinese 316 stainless steel scrap saw little movement at CNY 16,100 ($2,631) per metric ton. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese 304 stainless steel scrap held flat at CNY 16,400 ($2,680) per metric ton. The price of Chinese primary nickel continues hovering around CNY 97,400 ($15,917) per metric ton for the fifth day in a row.
