Japanese Palladium Bar Gains 4.2%

Closing at JPY 2,293 ($23.41) per gram on the Monday, October 21, Japanese palladium bar rose 4.2 percent to finish as the day’s biggest mover. Chinese palladium bar prices rose 1.2 percent to CNY 165.00 ($27.03) per gram. After a 0.1 percent increase, US palladium bar finished the day at $739.00 per ounce.

Japanese platinum bar finished the day up 2.5 percent to JPY 4,561 ($46.57) per gram. Chinese platinum bar saw its price rise 0.3 percent to CNY 302.00 ($49.48) per gram. US platinum bar gained 0.1 percent to finish at $1,435 per ounce.

Japanese gold bullion prices inched up 2.6 percent to JPY 4,155 ($42.43) per gram. Indian gold bullion gained 1.6 percent to finish at INR 29,674 ($484.51) per 10 grams. The price of US gold bullion declined 0.2 percent to $1,317 per ounce, after two days of improvement. Chinese gold bullion prices saw a 0.1 percent decline to CNY 259.75 ($42.56) per gram.

Indian silver prices rose 2.3 percent to INR 50,098 ($817.99) per kilogram. The price of Chinese silver increased 0.8 percent to CNY 4,405 ($721.71) per kilogram. Japanese silver finished the day up 0.6 percent to JPY 674.00 ($6.88) per 10 grams. US silver saw its price rise 0.3 percent to $21.96 per ounce.
