Molycorp to Report Q3 2013 Financial Results In Nov; Rare Earths Steady

Molycorp, Inc. has announced plans today to release its financial results for the third quarter “ended September 30, 2013, after the market closes on Thursday, November 7, 2013,” reports The Wall Street Journal.

“Release of Molycorp’s financial results will be followed by an investor conference call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern hosted by Constantine Karayannopoulos, President and Chief Executive Officer; Geoff Bedford, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; and Michael Doolan, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.”

Rare Earths MMI® metals had a quiet week, with cerium oxide hovering. Following a steady week, prices for dysprosium oxide closed flat. Prices for europium oxide remained constant.

Lanthanum oxide remained unchanged for the week. The week finished with no movement for neodymium. Neodymium remained essentially flat from the previous week. The price of neodymium oxide did not change since the previous week.

Praseodymium oxide traded sideways last week. Rare earth carbonate prices held steady from the previous week. Samarium oxide remained unchanged for the week. The week finished with no movement for terbium metal.

Terbium oxide remained essentially flat from the previous week. The price of yttria did not change since the previous week. Yttrium traded sideways last week.
