Indian Silver Shifts 1.7%

At INR 52,087 ($846.77) per kilogram, Indian silver moved up 1.7 percent on Tuesday, October 29, the day’s biggest change. The price of Japanese silver increased 1.3 percent to JPY 707.00 ($7.24) per 10 grams. The price of Chinese silver fell 0.8 percent to CNY 4,475 ($735.41) per kilogram. US silver finished the day down 0.4 percent to $22.51 per ounce.

Japanese gold bullion gained 1.2 percent to finish at JPY 4,240 ($43.43) per gram. Chinese gold bullion finished the day up 0.2 percent to CNY 264.95 ($43.54) per gram. The price of Indian gold bullion showed little movement yesterday at INR 30,382 ($493.92) per 10 grams. After a couple of days of improving prices, the price of US gold bullion held steady at $1,353.

Japanese platinum bar saw its price rise 1.3 percent to JPY 4,592 ($47.04) per gram. Chinese platinum bar prices rose 1.0 percent to CNY 306.00 ($50.29) per gram. The price of US platinum bar steadied at $1,451 per ounce following two-days of increases.

The price of Japanese palladium bar moved yesterday. After a few changeless days, prices dropped 0.8 percent to JPY 2,335 ($23.92) per gram. The price of US palladium bar remained steady at $742.00 per ounce. Chinese palladium bar stayed flat at around CNY 164.00 ($26.95) per gram.
