Indian Gold Bullion Drifts 0.9%
Indian gold bullion had the largest decline on Wednesday, October 30, dropping 0.9 percent and landing at INR 30,100 ($489.83) per 10 grams. US gold bullion ended the day at $1,344 per ounce, after the 0.7 percent drop yesterday. Japanese gold bullion prices inched up 0.2 percent to JPY 4,247 ($43.25) per gram. The price of Chinese gold bullion flattened at CNY 264.95 ($43.50) after two days of improvement.
Japanese silver closed 0.6 percent lower at JPY 703.00 ($7.16) per 10 grams. The price of Indian silver closed at INR 51,950 ($845.40) per kilogram. Following a couple days of improvement, the metal’s price weakened by 0.3 percent. Following two days of downward movement, the price of US silver held steady at $22.52 per ounce. After a couple of days of decreasing prices, the price of Chinese silver held steady at CNY 4,475 ($734.74).
Japanese platinum bar gained 0.9 percent to finish at JPY 4,633 ($47.18) per gram. US platinum bar prices rose 0.6 percent to $1,460 per ounce. Chinese platinum bar stayed flat at around CNY 306.00 ($50.24) per gram.
US palladium bar finished the day up 0.3 percent to $744.00 per ounce. The price of Japanese palladium bar declined 0.1 percent to JPY 2,332 ($23.75) per gram. The price of Chinese palladium bar remained essentially flat at CNY 164.00 ($26.93) per gram.
