Indian Silver Drifts 2.6%

Indian silver saw a 2.6 percent drop on Thursday, October 31, landing at INR 50,605 ($825.06) per kilogram and making it the biggest mover of the day. After a 1.0 percent increase, Japanese silver finished the day at JPY 710.00 ($7.21) per 10 grams. US silver prices inched up 1.0 percent to $22.73 per ounce. The price of Chinese silver declined 0.3 percent to CNY 4,460 ($731.90) per kilogram.

Indian gold bullion prices saw a 1.2 percent decline to INR 29,743 ($484.93) per 10 grams. Chinese gold bullion closed 0.9 percent lower at CNY 262.46 ($43.07) per gram. The price of US gold bullion fell 0.1 percent to $1,343 per ounce. After a couple of days of improving prices, the price of Japanese gold bullion held steady at JPY 4,249 ($43.13).

The price of US platinum bar increased 0.7 percent to $1,470 per ounce. Chinese platinum bar ended the day at CNY 305.00 ($50.05) per gram, after the 0.3 percent drop yesterday. After a 0.2 percent increase, Japanese platinum bar finished the day at JPY 4,644 ($47.14) per gram.

Following a two-day drop, the price of Japanese palladium bar increased by 1.1 percent to JPY 2,357 ($23.93) per gram. US palladium bar gained 0.1 percent to finish at $745.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar held steady at CNY 164.00 ($26.91) per gram.
