3.7% Drop Hits US Silver

Closing at $21.91 per ounce on Friday, November 1, US silver saw the biggest change at a 3.7 percent. At CNY 4,385 ($719.33) per kilogram, Chinese silver fell 1.7 percent last Friday. Indian silver prices saw a 1.0 percent decline to INR 50,078 ($804.72) per kilogram. Japanese silver saw its price rise 0.1 percent to JPY 711.00 ($7.23) per 10 grams.

US gold bullion ended the day at $1,323 per ounce, after the 1.5 percent drop last Friday. Chinese gold bullion finished the day down 0.9 percent to CNY 260.15 ($42.68) per gram. The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 0.6 percent to JPY 4,223 ($42.95) per gram. The price of Indian gold bullion steadied at INR 29,743 ($477.95) per 10 grams following two-days of dropping prices.

Following a couple days of improvement, the price of US platinum bar weakened by 1.6 percent. Prices closed at $1,447 per ounce. The price of Chinese platinum bar declined 0.3 percent to CNY 304.00 ($49.87) per gram. Following two days of rising prices, the price of Japanese platinum bar dropped 0.2 percent to JPY 4,635 ($47.14) per gram.

Following a couple days of improvement, the price of US palladium bar weakened by 1.2 percent. Prices closed at $736.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar fell 0.6 percent last Friday to CNY 163.00 ($26.74) per gram after three straight days with no change. The price of Japanese palladium bar increased 0.1 percent to JPY 2,360 ($24.00) per gram.
