Large Decrease for Indian Silver

Indian silver saw a 4.7 percent drop on Tuesday, November 5, landing at INR 47,725 ($769.88) per kilogram and making it the biggest mover of the day. At JPY 681.00 ($6.90) per 10 grams, Japanese silver fell 1.0 percent yesterday. US silver finished the day down 1.0 percent to $21.66 per ounce. Chinese silver ended the day at CNY 4,350 ($713.52) per kilogram, after the 0.6 percent drop on Tuesday.

The price of Indian gold bullion moved up 2.7 percent, landing at INR 30,542 ($492.69) per 10 grams. Following a 0.2 percent rise on Tuesday, the price of Chinese gold bullion closed at CNY 259.20 ($42.52) per gram. The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 0.2 percent to JPY 4,171 ($42.29) per gram. The price of US gold bullion steadied at $1,315 per ounce following two-days of dropping prices.

The price of Japanese platinum bar is back up, rising by 0.6 percent yesterday to close at JPY 4,633 ($46.97) per gram. The price of US platinum bar held steady at $1,453 per ounce. The price of Chinese platinum bar remained essentially flat at CNY 304.00 ($49.86) per gram.

The price of Chinese palladium bar increased 1.2 percent to CNY 165.00 ($27.06) per gram. US palladium bar finished the day up 1.2 percent to $747.00 per ounce. Japanese palladium bar saw little change in its price yesterday at JPY 2,351 ($23.84) per gram.
