Big Change Hits Indian Gold Bullion

Decreasing 4.5 percent made Indian gold bullion the biggest mover of the day, finishing at INR 29,170 ($472.89) per 10 grams on Wednesday, November 6. At CNY 258.55 ($42.39) per gram, Chinese gold bullion fell 0.3 percent yesterday. US gold bullion finished the day down 0.2 percent to $1,312 per ounce. After dropping for two days, the price of Japanese gold bullion flattened at JPY 4,167 ($42.32).

The price of Indian silver climbed 4.0 percent to INR 49,649 ($804.89) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver is back up, rising by 0.6 percent yesterday to close at JPY 685.00 ($6.96) per 10 grams. Following a two-day drop, the price of US silver increased by 0.3 percent to $21.71 per ounce. After falling for two days, the price of Chinese silver rose 0.1 percent to CNY 4,355 ($714.07) per kilogram.

US platinum bar ended the day at $1,449 per ounce, after the 0.3 percent drop on Wednesday. The price of Japanese platinum bar increased 0.1 percent to JPY 4,638 ($47.10) per gram. The price of Chinese platinum bar remained essentially flat at CNY 304.00 ($49.85) per gram.

Japanese palladium bar prices inched up 1.6 percent to JPY 2,389 ($24.26) per gram. Chinese palladium bar saw its price rise 0.6 percent to CNY 166.00 ($27.22) per gram. US palladium bar finished the day up 0.1 percent to $748.00 per ounce.
