Indian Silver Falls 3.5%

Decreasing 3.5 percent made Indian silver the biggest mover of the day, finishing at INR 48,319 ($762.73) per kilogram on Monday, November 11. Chinese silver closed 1.0 percent lower at CNY 4,315 ($708.51) per kilogram. The price of US silver declined 0.7 percent to $21.51 per ounce. At JPY 683.00 ($6.88) per 10 grams, Japanese silver fell 0.7 percent yesterday.

Chinese gold bullion prices saw a 1.6 percent decline to CNY 253.05 ($41.55) per gram. The price of US gold bullion fell 1.4 percent to $1,290 per ounce. Japanese gold bullion ended the day at JPY 4,134 ($41.67) per gram, after the 1.2 percent drop on Monday. The price of Indian gold bullion held steady at INR 30,740 ($485.24) per 10 grams.

At JPY 4,628 ($46.65) per gram, Japanese platinum bar fell 1.0 percent on Monday. The price of Chinese platinum bar fell 1.0 percent to CNY 302.00 ($49.59) per gram. After two changeless days, the price of US platinum bar fell 0.5 percent to $1,443 per ounce.

Today marks the fifth day in a row of declining prices for Chinese palladium bar. After falling 1.2 percent, prices settled at CNY 165.00 ($27.09) per gram, driving an accelerated drop-off since Tuesday, November 5. Japanese palladium bar closed 0.6 percent lower at JPY 2,408 ($24.27) per gram. The price of US palladium bar declined 0.5 percent to $757.00 per ounce.
