Japanese Silver Sees 2.5% Decline

Japanese silver saw a 2.5 percent drop on Thursday, November 14, landing at JPY 661.00 ($6.66) per 10 grams and making it the biggest mover of the day. The price of Chinese silver is back up, rising by 0.2 percent on Thursday to close at CNY 4,230 ($694.22) per kilogram. The price of Indian silver held steady at INR 48,913 ($771.74) per kilogram. US silver held its value yesterday at $21.35 per ounce.

Following a 1.0 percent rise yesterday, the price of Chinese gold bullion closed at CNY 252.70 ($41.47) per gram. The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 0.6 percent to JPY 4,075 ($41.06) per gram. The price of Indian gold bullion remained essentially flat at INR 29,704 ($468.67) per 10 grams. The price of US gold bullion remained steady at $1,282 per ounce.

The price of Chinese platinum bar increased 0.7 percent to CNY 302.00 ($49.56) per gram. The price of Japanese platinum bar declined 0.4 percent to JPY 4,612 ($46.48) per gram. US platinum bar held its value on Thursday at $1,431 per ounce.

Following a quiet couple of days, the price of Japanese palladium bar fell 1.0 percent on Thursday to JPY 2,384 ($24.02) per gram. Chinese palladium bar finished the day down 0.6 percent to CNY 163.00 ($26.75) per gram. The price of US palladium bar showed little movement on Thursday at $755.00 per ounce.
