US Palladium Bar Sees 0.8% Decline

On Monday, November 18, US palladium bar fell by 0.8 percent to $731.00 per ounce, making it the day’s biggest mover. Japanese palladium bar held its value yesterday at JPY 2,384 ($23.75) per gram. At CNY 164.00 ($26.92) per gram, the price of Chinese palladium bar was essentially unchanged.

The price of US platinum bar declined 0.6 percent to $1,437 per ounce. The price of Chinese platinum bar ended a two-day climb, settling at CNY 304.00 ($49.89) per gram. Japanese platinum bar stayed flat at around JPY 4,699 ($46.82) per gram.

Following a couple of essentially changeless days, the price of Indian gold bullion rose by 0.4 percent, closing at INR 29,816 ($475.38) per 10 grams. After a 0.2 percent increase, US gold bullion finished the day at $1,290 per ounce. The price of Chinese gold bullion flattened at CNY 253.78 ($41.65) after two days of improvement. The price of Japanese gold bullion remained steady at JPY 4,143 ($41.28) per gram.

At $20.78, the price of US silver finished the market day up 0.2 percent per ounce. The price of Indian silver closed Monday at INR 48,841 ($778.71) per kilogram, halting its two-day flat run with a 0.1 percent decline. Following a two-day rise, the price of Chinese silver flattened at CNY 4,250 ($697.54). The price of Japanese silver remained essentially flat at JPY 667.00 ($6.65) per 10 grams.
