Japanese Silver Price Drops 2.7%

On Wednesday, November 20, the day’s biggest mover was Japanese silver, which saw a 2.7 percent decline to JPY 650.00 ($6.49) per 10 grams. Following a 1.4 percent rise on Wednesday, the price of Indian silver closed at INR 48,357 ($778.44) per kilogram. The price of Chinese silver increased 0.6 percent to CNY 4,205 ($690.04) per kilogram. At $20.34 per ounce, US silver fell 0.3 percent yesterday.

The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 1.3 percent to JPY 4,086 ($40.79) per gram yesterday after two days of no change. At INR 29,600 ($476.50), the price of Indian gold bullion finished the market day up 0.4 percent per 10 grams. Chinese gold bullion gained 0.3 percent to finish at CNY 251.20 ($41.22) per gram. The price of US gold bullion held steady at $1,275 per ounce.

Japanese platinum bar ended the day at JPY 4,546 ($45.38) per gram, after the 2.2 percent drop yesterday. The price of US platinum bar rose 0.4 percent to $1,414 per ounce after a two-day drop. Chinese platinum bar prices inched up 0.3 percent to CNY 297.00 ($48.74) per gram.

The price of Japanese palladium bar declined 2.3 percent to JPY 2,313 ($23.09) per gram. Chinese palladium bar prices rose 0.6 percent to CNY 160.00 ($26.26) per gram. Following a two-day drop, the price of US palladium bar increased by 0.6 percent to $719.00 per ounce.
