Chinese copper prices were mixed for the day. Chinese copper bar prices inched up 0.2 percent. After a 0.2 percent increase, the cash price of Chinese copper finished the day. Chinese copper wire prices rose 0.2 percent. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap was unchanged.
On the LME, the primary copper cash price gained 1.1 percent to finish at $7,065 per metric ton. At $7,065, the 3-month price of copper finished the market day on the LME up 1.0 percent per metric ton.
