US Silver Sees 1.9% Decline

Decreasing 1.9 percent made US silver the biggest mover of the day, finishing at $19.82 per ounce on Wednesday, November 27. The price of Japanese silver increased 0.8 percent to JPY 650.00 ($6.42) per 10 grams. The price of Chinese silver declined 0.7 percent to CNY 4,140 ($679.48) per kilogram. After two flat days, the price of Indian silver inched up 0.3 percent on Wednesday to INR 46,800 ($749.12).

The price of Japanese gold bullion rose by 1.3 percent to JPY 4,093 ($40.42) per gram. The price of US gold bullion declined 0.8 percent to $1,242 per ounce, after two days of improvement. Indian gold bullion closed 0.6 percent lower at INR 29,099 ($465.78) per 10 grams. Chinese gold bullion prices saw a 0.4 percent decline to CNY 245.55 ($40.30) per gram.

At CNY 290.00 ($47.60) per gram, Chinese platinum bar fell 0.7 percent on Wednesday. US platinum bar finished the day down 0.6 percent to $1,373 per ounce. Japanese platinum bar saw its price rise 0.4 percent to JPY 4,555 ($44.99) per gram.

At JPY 2,373 ($23.44), the price of Japanese palladium bar finished the market day up 1.2 percent per gram. The price of Chinese palladium bar declined 0.6 percent to CNY 160.00 ($26.26) per gram. After a couple of days of improving prices, the price of US palladium bar held steady at $717.00.
