Japanese Silver on the Decline

On Wednesday, December 25, the day’s biggest mover was the price of Japanese silver, which saw a 1.1 percent decline to JPY 646.00 ($6.20) per 10 grams. Chinese silver prices rose 0.3 percent to CNY 3,990 ($657.15) per kilogram. The price of Indian silver held steady at INR 44,740 ($724.42) per kilogram. The price of US silver remained steady at $19.25 per ounce.

The price of Indian gold bullion fell 0.5 percent to INR 27,568 ($446.37) per 10 grams. At JPY 4,025 ($38.60), the price of Japanese gold bullion finished the market day up 0.3 percent per gram. Chinese gold bullion prices inched up 0.1 percent to CNY 238.50 ($39.28) per gram. US gold bullion saw little change in its price yesterday at $1,188 per ounce.

Chinese platinum bar finished the day up 0.4 percent to CNY 280.00 ($46.12) per gram. Japanese platinum bar saw its price rise 0.3 percent to JPY 4,454 ($42.72) per gram. US platinum bar held its value on Tuesday at $1,315 per ounce.

The price of Japanese palladium bar showed little movement on Tuesday at JPY 2,339 ($22.43) per gram. At $695.00 per ounce, the price of US palladium bar was essentially unchanged. The price of Chinese palladium bar remained essentially flat at CNY 155.00 ($25.53) per gram.
