The price of Japanese platinum bar rose 3.4 percent this week, closing out the third week at JPY 4,801 ($46.18) per gram. Chinese platinum bar gained a slight 2.4 percent this past week, finishing at CNY 300.00 ($49.58) per gram. In the past week, US platinum bar saw its price shift up 1.9 percent to $1,432 per ounce.
Japanese gold bullion prices ticked up 2.1 percent over the past week to JPY 4,179 ($40.20) per gram. US gold bullion rose 0.9 percent over the past week to $1,249 per ounce. Chinese gold bullion saw its price rise 0.3 percent over the past week to CNY 246.10 ($40.68) per gram. The price of Indian gold bullion fell 0.2 percent to INR 28,150 ($458.13) per 10 grams after rising 1.4 percent the week before.
Following a 1.2 percent increase in the week prior, the price of Indian silver fell 1.2 percent last week to INR 45,825 ($745.79) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver fell 0.1 percent to JPY 669.00 ($6.44) per 10 grams after rising 0.3 percent the week before. Following a 0.1 percent increase, US silver finished the week at $20.17 per ounce. Chinese silver traded sideways last week, hovering around CNY 4,085 ($675.17) per kilogram.
