US Platinum Bar Rises 2.7%; Japanese Gold Bullion Gains 2.6%

On Monday, January 20, the day’s biggest mover was US platinum bar, which saw a 2.7 percent increase. The price of Chinese platinum bar increased 1.7 percent. After a 0.2 percent increase, Japanese platinum bar finished the day.

Chinese palladium bar gained 2.5 percent to finish. The price of Japanese palladium bar gained 0.9 percent. US palladium bar saw little change in its price last Friday.

Following a couple days of improvement, the price of Japanese gold bullion weakened by 2.6 percent. The price of Indian gold bullion finished the market day up 1.1 percent per 10 grams. US gold bullion prices rose 1.0 percent. Chinese gold bullion prices inched up 0.8 percent.

Following a 1.3 percent rise last Friday, the price of US silver closed. The price of Indian silver increased 1.2 percent. After a 0.6 percent increase, Chinese silver finished the day. The price of Japanese silver fell 0.3 percent.
