LME 3-Month Copper Sees Decline

US copper producer grade 110 price experienced the biggest price decline of the day, dropping 0.8 percent to close on Tuesday, February 4. The price of US copper producer grade 122 fell 0.8 percent. The price of US copper producer grade 102 saw a 0.7 percent decline. The cash price of primary Japanese copper saw little price change on Tuesday.

Chinese copper prices closed flat for the day. The price of Chinese copper bar held steady. The Chinese copper cash price held steady. The price of Chinese copper wire remained essentially flat. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap continues to hover for the fifth day in a row.

On the LME, the 3-month price of copper declined 0.2 percent to $7,050 per metric ton. After dropping for two days on the LME, the primary copper cash price flattened at $7,095.
