The price of US copper producer grade 122 is back up, rising by 0.5 percent on Wednesday. Following a 0.5 percent rise yesterday, the price of US copper producer grade 102 closed. The Japanese copper cash price remained essentially flat.
Chinese copper prices were flat for the day. The price of Chinese copper bar continues to hover for the fifth day in a row. The Chinese copper cash price remained essentially flat. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese copper wire held flat. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap was unchanged.
The copper 3-month price steadied at $7,050 per metric ton following two-days of dropping prices on the LME. Also on the LME, the primary copper cash price saw little change in its price on Wednesday at $7,095 per metric ton.
