Chinese Palladium Bar Down 3.0% After Flat Spell

On Friday, February 7, the day’s biggest mover was the price of Chinese palladium bar, which saw a 3.0 percent decline. This was the first move after three changeless days. US palladium bar prices inched up 0.4 percent. Japanese palladium bar stayed flat.

After remaining flat for three days, the price of Chinese platinum bar fell 2.0 percent last Friday. The price of Japanese platinum bar finished the market day up 1.5 percent per gram. US platinum bar ended the day, after the 0.4 percent drop last Friday.

The price of Japanese gold bullion moved up 1.3 percent. The price of Chinese gold bullion rose by 1.0 percent after a three-day flat streak. The price of Indian gold bullion remained essentially flat. The price of US gold bullion showed little movement last Friday.

Japanese silver gained 1.9 percent to finish. Indian silver saw its price rise 0.7 percent. On the tail of a three-day flat streak, the price of Chinese silver rose by 0.5 percent. US silver prices rose 0.3 percent.
